Huan Chen

Artist member since 2026

Huan Chen is a Chinese-Canadian visual artist who is interested in exploring the relationship between human and nature. She has undergraduate and Master’s degrees in chemical engineering, where she was exposed to issues on the environment, a topic of many of her works. Her recent works reflect upon the impact of man-made activities on landscapes and the importance of natural and cultural preservation. She has exhibited in many shows and is a recipient of multiple awards. Huan received her BFA from the joint program of Art and Art History at University of Toronto and Sheridan College in 2025, and is currently pursuing her MFA in the IMAD program at OCAD University.
